Assuming you want to host it on my server, choose the 'no hosting' option and we can take it from there (you will need to change the nameservers when I set up the web space (this is easy - I can help if needed).
If you want me to buy a domain name for you and set up the web space at the same time, there will be an extra 50€ charge.
To summarize my charges:
- Design of the site 300€ (assuming that it is hosted on my server)- payable on completion of the site or 28 days after the date of setting up the web space.
- Annual hosting/maintenance of the site on a Linux server 300€ (the period will be from the day I set the web space up on the server). If you wish to host it elsewhere then my design fee (above) increases to 1000€. (payable in advance)
- Registering of the domain name (2 years registration) 50€ (or do it yourself as above).
Unlike most web designers/developers, the site (code etc) will be your property and we can terminate our agreement at anytime and if required, I can give you the site (on CD) so that you can take it away with you.
If required you can update and edit the site using Macromedia Contribute http://www.macromedia.com/software/contribute/
I have found this to be the best way for non-techie clients to look after the site, which means you can edit freely without messing up any essential code I have written. If any content is added to the site which is illegal, pornographic or contains racism or hatred, then our contract will be terminated immediately. I will reluctantly supply FTP details, but any repairing I have to do caused by editing the site with anything other than Contribute will be charged at 20€/hour.
I will make the site as attractive to search engines as possible, but you will need to try and get some incoming links to the site from other relevant established sites, by grovelling! I have a guy in Mumbai, Samir, who I normally pay about 600€/per site to help me out with this - which I have usually found to be a great investment. I cannot guarantee search engine positions at all, this is the work of an SEO specialist and the guy I recommend is James Welch from 123promotion.co.uk.
Meanwhile if you can supply me with 250-450 words about the Olympic weeks, I can do that right away.
