How to stop spam forever

There are many free spam blockers you can download available on the net, but rather than block they tend to filter, which means you are still downloading all the crap which takes time and legit emails can end up with the rest of the junk .

Hi Gwyn, yes it’s free – there’s an upgraded version that you can pay for but the free one works fine…If you want to see how it works send an email to my old address 'mail @ ricklomas.com' – the first time you do this you will get an automatic email asking you to click a link in that mail, when you do that it will take you to a web page where you will have to enter a code (this can’t be done automatically – it has to be done by a real person) after that you are on my ‘safe senders list’ and emails go as normal.

This is the most effective way I have found to get rid of spam, every other solution I have tried just filters the emails, which can include false positives. The only slight disadvantage with it is that people like my dad, receive email through the TV and can’t click a link and see a web page…however since putting it into effect I have realised that you can add people manually, so the whole thing is transparent to them. Give it a go if you have a spam problem.
