I'm thinking about getting the wife one of these for her birthday.

I tried my hardest to set private nameservers but neither the GoDaddy app or the mobile version allowed me to get that far in. I tried copying the URL of the non-mobile site and using this was able to get to sort of the right page but then it uses a frame that I needed to scroll down to which doesn't really work in the iPhone Safari browser. So I went for the easy option and just set the nameservers to match the ones provided by the hosting company. I've done this now, so I'm just going to have dinner while it propagates. FYI I just used the GoDaddy app for this, but the mobile site looked just as easy.

Making your own screensavers is a lot of fun, all you need is a bunch of photos or images and maybe a bit of music (although I prefer not to) – and then just chuck them into some screensaver software and hit 'build'. It really is that easy, once you have it as either an .exe file or .scr file you can send it to friends and family and let them install it too.

Online backup services aren't new, but Carbonite's clever software makes the service well worth its modest price. I have been meaning to get a big external hard drive to do some backing up of my stuff, but every time I go and look at the prices they have gone down and the disks are getting bigger, so I wait! This online backup review sold it for me.
