Monetize Your Blog
Since I went to The Authority Summit in Las Vegas earlier this month, I have been trying my hardest to distribute a book written by Rick Butts, called "Monetize Your Website or Blog to Make $1000+ per month". I have done this mainly on this web site and also with a few other web pages and web 2.0 platforms that you can get for free.
Last week I decided to pick on a phrase "Get paid to write blogs on the internet" which I found using Wordtracker. By using the web social bookmarking, news submission sites and a few other tricks I was able to get this phrase to number #4 in Google within about 45 mins! After 2 hours it was #1.
So how is it doing today? Well #1 is my submission to Newsvine.
As a consequence of this I got a comment from Rick Butts about Monetize Your Blog on my blog post.
It was quite hilarious as I seemed to be ranking #9 in Google for his name [tag-self]Rick Butts[/tag-self]. Anyway, this got me thinking, "how easy would it be to out rank him for his main keyphrase "monetize your blog"?
