Today is our 6th wedding anniversary,

First of all thank you to my mum and dad, Jean and Gordon and also Sue's mum and dad, Janet & John for sending the wedding anniversary cards. They actually both arrived on Saturday and have been on the fireplace since then.

We didn't fancy getting a babysitter for the evening as Maddy has a bit of a cough, so we went to Savines Le Lac and had a superb lunch at Le Relais Fleuri, which is the large very yellow place just by the bridge. The 18€ menu is excellent value, I had a cesar salad for starters, which was quite large and really good faux filet garni and cheese afterwards. A 75cl pitchet of Rosé is 10€ and a coffee is 2€.

Afterwards we went on Le Courlis which is a boat that does a trip from the bridge down towards the dam, it takes a good 30mins or so to complete the trip and it is great fun. The traffic was a bit bad coming back through Embrun, but we were back in Serre Chevalier for about 8pm. An excellent day.

We took a few photos, but we forgot to charge the camera up, so there aren't loads. It is a really amazing area and well worth visiting.
